Borexino Phase-III open data (CNO) and Monte Carlo spectral shapes

Borexino Phase III: TFC-subtracted spectrum with fit, CNO likelihood profile, MC shapes of all components

Data sets Borexino Solar Solar model Flux modelling Curated

Phase-III data of the improved CNO measurement (Phys. Rev. Lett. 129, 252701): TFC-subtracted spectrum with Borexino's fit, the published CNO −2Δln L profile, and the Monte Carlo spectral shapes of all signals and backgrounds released with arXiv:2005.12829.

Summary

The public part of Borexino's CNO analysis.

Out-of-scope use

Full reproduction of the multivariate fit: the TFC-tagged spectrum and the radial distribution are not public.

Validation

Newtrinos borexinoph3 reproduces the CNO best fit (6.68 vs 6.7 cpd/100 t) with Gaussian priors on ¹¹C and external backgrounds (entry 10.1103PhysRevLett.129.252701).
